The AESAD is a portable battery powered device for converting mic or line level analog audio into an AES/EBU digital audio stream.- The AESAD has two high quality transformer based mic preamps and outputs a single, variable level, AES/EBU digital signal.
- Phantom power is available to power condenser microphones.
- The output sample rate is selectable by the user and a word clock input is provided for synchronization with other AES/EBU equipment.Metering is provided to monitor both the analog input and digital output signal levels.
- The AESAD has a headphone output with level control.
